Purety Clinic provides fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) as a medical service for patients with recurrent or refractory Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) infection who have not responded to standard antibiotic therapy.
All FMT services are ordered, supervised, and overseen by licensed physicians and are provided in a clinical setting following a comprehensive medical evaluation.
Medical Indication
FMT at Purety Clinic is offered exclusively for the treatment of:
Recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection
Persistent or refractory disease following appropriate antibiotic treatment
Patients determined by a licensed physician to be appropriate candidates
FMT is not provided for non–C. diff conditions, general digestive complaints, or wellness purposes.

FMT services at Purety Clinic are conducted under the authority of a licensed physician.

Patient care may involve a multidisciplinary clinical team.
All clinical services related to FMT are provided under physician supervision.

Non-physician clinicians, when involved, do not independently determine eligibility for or provide FMT.
Treatment Methods
The method of FMT administration is determined by the supervising physician based on clinical appropriateness and patient-specific factors. Available delivery methods may include:
Oral capsules
Enema
Colonoscopy
Liquid ampules
Not all methods are appropriate for every patient.
